There’s certain make up items I always have a backup of, because really I couldn’t do without them. So here they are…..
These three items are items I usually have at least one more in the bathroom cupboard just incase. They are what I would call staples in my makeup bag. It would take a lot for me to change them up, or try something else.
First up is the Bobbi Brown Corrector in Porcelain Peach. I have mentioned this before on the blog, and I have definitely lost count on how many I have purchased it now. It is difficult for someone with such a pale skin tone to find something ‘highlighting’ but this is the perfect shade for me. I find less is more; with a very creamy texture I do have the set it well with another favourite of mine, the trusty Rimmel Stay Matte powder in Translucent. But it gives me such a brighter under eye look, and (mostly) banishes those dark circles. It’s a cult classic product and very happy I have it in my collection forever more. Thank you Bobbi for thinking of us pale kids who needs some help!
Next is the Still Stay All Day Liquid Eyeliner, something I don’t wear on the daily but still up there with my must haves. I did used to wear a small cat eye flick every day, but I found that when I wanted to create a more dramatic night look, there wasn’t much more I could do. So now it’s kept for evenings and generally times I have the time to do it. It is the BEST liquid eyeliner around; it really does what it says ‘Stay All Day’ but nothing the Clarins Waterproof Eye Makeup Remover can’t budge. It is so simple to get the perfect line; I find laying it on its side rather than with the point really helps get the flick. It doesn’t dry out and the colour is jet black until the end. If youre looking for a new eyeliner, here is one to try!
Lastly is not something I have multiples of, as if you’ve had it, you know it’s a long standing product… Benefit Hoola Bronzer. As I mentioned before, being on the paler side, finding complexion products to suit is difficult. Everything is either too orange, shimmery or too muddy in colour making me look very odd no matter how light of hand. But this bronzer is perfect, not just for me; it seems everyone looks good in Hoola. I find that I need a little help warming my face up, and with the Hoola brush I treated myself too not long ago, I really can get the look I want. I love this especially on a less make up day, with some brows and a little concealer it makes a great addition. You’re more than likely reading this saying ‘yes, has anyone not tried Hoola?’ but I had to sing its praises!
So here are my 3 most repurchased make up items, what are yours?
